 Hi,

Thank you for contacting Skyvia Support.

Sorry for the inconvenience with your Backup package.

Please be informed that we weren't able to reproduce this situation on our side.

Kindly stop the package execution by clicking on the "Cancel" button and try to run it again. Let us know the result.

Thank you in advance and looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Serhii

Thank you, is it normal for the back up to take 4 days to complete?

Also got the following error for the Task section backup "There is currently an upper limit on the number of results returned for this query. Please see docs at https://developers.asana.com/docs/api-limits. We are looking into a permanent solution now and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."

Does this mean that i can't back up my tasks or only some of them will be backed up? How many can be backed up and do you have an estimate of how long it will take to fix?

 Hi Alexa,

Thank you for your response.

After a closer look at your package, we see that you have backed up around 9 million records. This amount of data is the main reason for a long execution of your Backup package.

If an error occurred during the backup in some objects, it doesn't matter how long these objects were backing up, it means that nothing was backed up within those objects.

This error, "There is currently an upper limit on the number of results returned for this query." is issued by the Asana API because their server cannot stand the load for the Tasks object.

Asana API gives very limited access to Tasks object when reading (and when backing up). They require a number of mandatory parameters when reading, such as WorkspaceId and ProjectId, but we implemented this object so that the user does not specify these parameters (but can set if desired). We have a grandparent relationship for Tasks, and they even have written in the documentation that there may be problems with this.

What we would recommend here is to back up Tasks with a filter by ProjectId. You can make separate packages for each project. If you have more than one Workspace, then the filter should be based on WorkspaceId and ProjectId

Please try this and let us know the result.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Serhii
